KA3 looked at Karen’s eyes. No longer did they seem open and innocent,
but clear and cruel. He knew that she meant what she had said about the
speech thing. The pain he still felt in his stomach was very real, very
hurtful. He was terrified. Or, he was more terrified than he had ever been
in his life. He was under the complete control of this psycopath.
“KA3, Rule #2: Never stare at your mistress unless given permission to
do so.” Jack looked up at her, to see if she was being serious. She
immediately threw a fist at Jack’s face. He tried to move his head to dodge
it, but didn’t succeed. The fist landed squarely on his lip. He could feel
it burst open. And he once again tried to break free of his bonds, but was
unsuccessful. Another fist landed on his cheek, sending pain through his
entire jaw. Again and again she beat him, hitting his nose and mouth often.
His face was covered with blood, when, on the last blow, he heard a bone
break. He was in so much pain, he wasn’t sure who had broken what. Had his
